We work closely with our partners who manufacture LED panels to ensure the process of incorporating our cards is as effortless as possible. Many of these partners are based in the Pearl River Delta of mainland China, just across the border from Hong Kong in cities like Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou. It therefore made perfect sense for us to bring in outstanding engineers who are fluent in both English and Mandarin. We’ve welcomed several new members to the Brompton team over the last year, including two new Field Application Engineers, Jack Fung and Pokman Chu. Pokman Chu was born in Hong Kong, and moved to the UK in his late teens. He graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Pokman has worked as a lab technician and an electronic engineer in the energy industry for the past seven years. Also from Hong Kong, Jack Fung recently moved to the UK. He has a Masters in Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Jack has 22 years of experience working in R&D, supporting software, RF, mechanical and production teams. Although both are new to LED processing, Pokman and Jack very quickly assimilated into our already very strong support team. They now travel all over the world upholding Brompton’s excellent standards for reliable, efficient support. We’re delighted to have them on board.
