Each supports a nominal 525K pixels at 8 bits per colour, 60Hz frame rate.

10 and 12 bits per colour output is supported at reduced pixel counts.

Pixel count may be reduced for certain fixture types.

Loop back redundancy supported

Redundancy can be separately enabled for each pair of ports in the Tessera software.
When redundancy is enabled each pair of ports will have the same capacity as a single port.


All processing at 12 bits per colour channel (36 bits per pixel)

Per-input proc-amp style colour controls with histogram preview

Controls include hue, saturation, brightness, contrast and individual red, green and blue shadow and highlight.


Dual processing pipelines each featuring broadcast quality deinterlacing, clipping and up-/down-scaling, with seamless switching and cross-fading between inputs

Processing pipelines are disabled when operating in low latency mode, or when non-standard canvas resolutions are enabled.

ChromaTune colour correction

Features 14-way Colour Corrector and Colour Replace modes. Not available when operating in low latency mode, or when non-standard canvas resolutions are enabled.

Multiple fixture types per project

Automatic interpolation of different pixel pitches to make content appear at the same physical size across all fixtures

Interpolation can be disabled for 1:1 output on all fixture types. The content appears at normal size on the finest pixel pitch fixtures, and is scaled to match on those with coarser pixel pitches.

Nominal 2.1 million pixel capacity

Nominal capacity at 60Hz frame rate and 8 bits per colour output. Capacity increases proportionally for lower frame rates and decreases proportionally for 10 or 12 bits per colour output.

Rotation of some fixture types may result in reduced capacity. Fixtures smaller than 16px in either dimension have additional processing overhead and therefore result in reduced capacity.

Lock to any source, the reference input or an internal timing reference

The frame rate of the internal reference can be set by the user.

Frame rates from 23.98 to 60Hz are supported.

The processor automatically locks to the selected video input when in low latency mode, or using non-standard canvas sizes.

Genlock from source to the LED refresh


3 frames end-to-end system latency with all features enabled

2 frames end-to-end system latency in low-latency mode

Some front-end processing and genlock features are disabled in low latency mode.

When using legacy fixture types with constant current driver ICs, the end-to-end latency is one frame less.

Latency is measured in multiples of the frame rate period of the genlock source.


Local management using monitor, keyboard and mouse

DP++ monitor output supports DVI, HDMI and VGA using a suitable adapter. Monitors from 1280x1024 up to 1920x1080 are supported.

2 x USB2.0 on front and 2 x USB 2.0 on rear for keyboard and mouse. Can also be used for USB memory sticks for firmware reload and project backup.

Remote management from Tessera Remote on Windows PC or Mac OS X via management network ports

2 x Gigabit Ethernet management network ports connected internally as a switch. Also used for live control (see below). Neutrik EtherCON connectors, compatible with standard RJ45.
